I am thankful for:

I am here not to say what is crazy in my life but to say what is great about my life.

I have a fabulous husband. He is exactly what it is that makes me whole. I am crazy and silly and he is practical and sensible. I am loud, he is quiet. He is an outdoors type of person; I will rarely walk to the mailbox. We even differ on football. I love professional and he is a college fan all the way. But despite all our difference somehow for almost 10 years we have made it work. I love him more now than I did when I married him.
Next is my Diva. She is the best part of both if us. Sure she is bossy and opinionated, but hey she is my child what did you expect. She is my mini me. I remember wanting her so bad and being overjoyed once she was finally born and I could touch her. Everything I do and I am is because of the person that I hope that she can be one day. I want to be the type of mother that she can be proud of and be happy that I am her mother. She is truly the reason I was put on this earth; to be her mother. Next I have my friends. My friends are the best people in the world. My best fried her name is Jan! Jan and I are so much alike that it’s scary. She and I spend hours on the phone talking about anything and everything, from the state of affairs in the world to how ugly the houses are on House Hunters in HGTV. Yes it’s that kind of friendship. I know that she will be there for me; sometimes I do not even have to ask. She has met me in the middle of the night when the Diva has been sick and drove the 40 miles to the Emergency Room so that I would not have to be there alone and stayed with me well into the night even when she knew she had to be at work that next day. Like I said yes its that kind of friendship. Then I have these fabulous wonderful ladies whom I met through the Judith McNaught bulletin board. These are some of the best ladies anywhere. They mean so much to me. Even though I can not reach out and touch them they are so special.

The next thing that I am thankful is; men just like this next one I am going tell you about. His name is Richard and he is not at home with his family because it’s his job to make it safe for you and me to watch football and eat turkey tomorrow. I love him because he is Jan’s son. I would love him regardless of the fact that he is a solider just because he is Jan’s son, however the fact that I know that he is making sacrifices like so many others makes me love him more and makes me proud to know that I can call him one of my loved ones.

So remember when you are being thankful tomorrow, YOU really do have a lot to be thankful for!

All my love and Happy Thanksgiving!
